Moroccan Pottery and Ceramics inspiration from Badia Design

Over the weekend I took a trip to Marrakesh, errr I mean North Hollywood to Badia Design, one of my favorite home decor shops in Los Angeles. Badia is a huge Moroccan imports store, and they carry a little bit of everything when it comes to Moroccan decor: furniture, tile, lanterns, rugs, even sinks! This time, we went because we wanted to find a bistro table for our backyard patio which is *almost* done (just in time for the cooler months waaamp waaaamp).

It had been a while since I’d last made a visit to Badia, and WOW! They have a lot of new and wonderful things. The thing that really stuck out to me was all of the pottery/ceramics…I am in love with these terra cotta jugs…

I’ve always loved Zellige tile and my love affair only grew after this last visit…

Wishing I had another bathroom to tile, I’d think about using those swirly whirly tiles….

My forever favorite combo of terra-cotta and emerald green on display with this tajine and zellige tile table display.

We ended up with a table and chairs and a fountain (!!!) that will be delivered this week. Can’t wait to share once they get here. Happy Monday friends, and happy New Year (Rosh Ha Shanah) to those who celebrate!
